Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at the civil ceremony on was held in December. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, in 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4 of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
