Kyra Miniturn Sedgwick is an extremely popular American TV and film actress for a long time. She has a large following throughout America as well as around the globe for her role as lead actress in the TV series 'The Closer.' Sedgwick was attracted to performing, art and Broadway from the age of twelve. She was introduced to Broadway by her mother who was interested in the field. Sedgwick's first role as an actor was on a TV show called 'Another World. It was when she was just 16 years old.
