Brandi passante made her debut as a celebrity in reality television when she appeared on the A&E reality show "Storage Wars". The show also featured her boyfriend Jarrod who is now her husband and also. They were able to propel them to fame on the mainstream. The show's theme is that the contents of storage lockers on which rent has not been paid for three months is put on auction. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop in Orange, California participated in the auction with hopes of being able to acquire storage units for cheap prices. They didn't realize that the show could turn them into reality TV stars! the couple! Over the course of the program they proved to be meticulous bidders, and eventually emerged as the stars of the program. The couple's popularity in the reality show has helped them expand their operations. They opened another store in addition to one they already run. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was developed after their appearance on Storage Wars.
