American actor Allison Brooks Janney was born on November 19 1959. Over the course of her more than three decades, Allison Brooks Janney has earned acclaim for her stage and film performances. Janney has won numerous awards. These include an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with many others. She has won seven Primetime Emmy Awards were also awarded to Janney. In addition, she was nominated for the two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston and raised near Dayton near Dayton, Ohio. Her scholarship allowed her to take classes in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney made her television debut in 1999 with the character C. J. Cregg in the role of C. J. Cregg in NBC's drama series The West Wing (1999 to 2006.), where she won four Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney got an award called the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Actresses in Drama Series. The actress won the award for her role as Margaret Scully in Showtime's drama Masters of Sex. Janney received nominations seven times for Primetime Emmy Awards and twice was awarded the Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
